We vet our ingredients and who we buy from for quality and sustainability as much as possible. We're not interested in claiming our ingredients can cure cancer, or improve your skin by some mathematical equation. We do, however, believe in the value of simplicity and respect for tradition. Our special blend of ingredients is chosen to promote balance on the skin.


PALO SANTO
Our original deodorant uses palo santo essential oil. The love affair with this "holy wood" began nearly by accident, as an alternative to sage when clearing immediate physical spaces we occupied. The burning of palo santo was a way to calm anxious sensations and feel more grounded to nature. Over time, its use became a daily routine, replacing negative tendencies and promoting a greater sense of security and well-being.
 
Palo santo grows sporadically from Mexico to South America. It has been used in indigenous traditions for centuries—in ritual, as well as in health. Such as with anything that's ever been held sacred, there is a danger for its commercialization or misuse. We believe your body is the same.

We only source our palo santo from vendors who capture their essential oils from dead trees and fallen branches.
 

CUCUMBER SEED
You've probably heard about cucumbers for their hydrating effects, but they also pack a lot of extra. They're rich in phytonutrients and minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc.
 

JASMINE
It's not just a really delicious tea. This flower has been used for centuries, perhaps most notably in China, for a multitude of reasons. In short, it has been heralded for its antioxidant properties and natural ability to balance moisture on the skin.
 

TEA TREE
This plant grows in Australia and has an aroma similar to eucalyptus and camphor. Diluted tea tree oil has historically been used for its anti-fungal properties to promote healing of mild bacterial and skin conditions.
